Slowpitch SoftbaLL

Last night I had my first slowpitch game of the Spring/Summer.
Basically Spring because Utah's Summer doesn't start until July.
It was fun, I miss ball.... thats for sure.
But I did want to blog about the funny things that you see at the Slowpitch feilds...

• People argueing calls. Let me remind you people, its slowpitch.
• The girl behind the plate that can't throw, catch, or hit.
• The girls straight out of high school who wear high socks, sliders, and I have even seen a helmet with a mask.
• The guys who wear their baseball pants.
• The guys that hit homeruns even when they know it will be an out. Just to show off.
• Parents trying to control their kids from on the feild.
• Parents making their kids go get the homerun balls.
• The lovely girls that look like dudes.
• Sliding! I do not get this one. Its slowpitch.
• The guys who throw the ball as hard as they can to first and it sails over the fence. (Guys are such show offs.)
• The poor girl in Right feild that has no idea what she is doing.
• The team who comes just to drink beer.

Don't get me wrong I adore slowpitch. Without slowpitch I would never be able to play softball again. But the things people do and the things that go on at a feild, make me laugh.
I can't wait till next Wednesday to play again. Although my body is incredibly sore.
I would love to hear other peoples funny experiences at the ballpark...
